Theodore Roosevelt

Student Success Statement
“In any moment of decision,
the best thing you can
do is the right thing.”
Theodore Roosevelt

GTY_theodore_roosevelt_sk_141229_4x3_992.jpgThis quote by Theodore Roosevelt means a lot like it has a lot to it. Because if you have decisions to make in a bad situation you have to think twice before you act because sometimes our actions are bad and we have to think before you act. Because it can affect you a lot. Your choices have to be good since the beginning you have to have good choices in life so that you can continue that when you're older and you have to make decisions for yourself it’s going to be very hard for you if you don’t start as a teenager because if you lead on to bad decisions bad life then that’s how it’s going to be all the time. Because you don’t change unless you really want to change then you have an opportunity to change your lifestyle your way of making decisions in life and it will help you out a lot and you are most likely to be successful if you make great decisions. You always have to choose the right not matter in what position you are make good decisions, and if somebody is telling you to not do what you’re deciding to do then don’t listen to them because your decisions are not going to affect them they’re going to affect you. Not them you. And then you’ll tell them that it’s because of them and they will back up and say to not blame them for your dumb mistakes when it was them who told you to make those decisions so choose and make your own good decisions.

The 10 Indian Commandments
  1. download.jpgTreat the Earth and all that dwells therein with respect.
  2. Remain close to the Great Spirit

  4. Wait together for the benefit of all mankind
  5. Give assistance and kindness wherever needed.
  6. Do what you know to be right
  7. Look after the well-being of mind and body
  8. Dedicate a share of your efforts to the greater good.
  9. Be truthful and honest at all times.
  10. Take full responsibility for your actions.
The 10 Indian commandments are almost the same as the catholic ones. It’s telling you to always choose the right. It basically all is saying it to be respectful to one another to treat people with kindness and be grateful for them treat them how you want to be treated. And if you end up choosing the wrong then you have to take full responsibility on your actions you can’t commit a crime and blame someone else for it. If you're so brave enough to chose the wrong then be brave enough to face the consequences and face them don’t run away. Be nice and help people out wherever it’s being needed because greatness comes back to you. If you’re a bad person then that’s what you will get only bad stuff. These 10 indian commandments are really good. They are very personal and good marvelous commandments. You can always be truthful and honest. One of the commandments that i would like to start off with is the be truthful and honest at all times. It’s something i usually do but i need to do it more often. Also the last one take full responsibility for my actions because if i do something wrong i have to take full responsibility for my actions no matter how bad they are or how good they are because they don’t always have to be negative things you can also do great things and be the best person anyone has ever met be a CTR person and you will get very far in life.
