Duties and responsibilities:
Performs home management tasks including housekeeping, laundry, shopping and errands Prepares and serves simple modified diets according to instruction and assists with feeding as necessary
Assists with bathing, dressing and grooming
Assists with toileting, including use of bedpan, commode or toilet
Assists with transfers and ambulation including use of cane, walker, and wheelchair
Assists with medication as specified on plan of care
Provides routine skin care.  May assist self-directing consumers in applying.Salary:
$8,000-$18,000

Education:
Home health aides must receive formal training and pass a competency test to work for certified home health or hospice agencies that receive reimbursement from Medicare or Medicaid. Personal and home care aides, however, face a wide range of requirements, which vary from state to state.



I wouldn't like to be one and at the same time i wouldn't mind bing one because it's like your doing what you normally do each day at hom. Do laundry, shop, housekeeping and preparing and serving simple modified diets.
